BPS High 麻豆高清 Shine at the FFEA State Conference

From February 2-5, six BPS high schools had the opportunity to attend the 35th Annual Florida Future Educators of America State Conference in Orlando, FL. Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) is a pre-collegiate and collegiate teacher recruitment program. The program provides a forum for students to become aware of career opportunities in education and nurtures their interest in teaching as a career. It also provides an avenue for collegiate members to stay informed of the latest issues and advancements in the education profession.

While attending the conference, the students had the opportunity to meet with fellow students, chapter advisors, and teachers as well as participate in various competitions. These competitions included Chapter Display, where chapters created a display to feature their chapter’s mission and activities; Education Research, where chapters developed a PowerPoint presentation to provide information highlighting the importance of early learning; Inside Our 麻豆高清, where chapters filmed a video to highlight a school program that best demonstrated their school's spirit; Public Speaking, where chapters composed a speech about an academic challenge they had encountered and subsequently conquered and succeeded; and Student Lesson Plan, where chapters planned and delivered a lesson in either English Language Arts or mathematics using the B.E.S.T. Standards.
